DIRECTOR
BRUNO MARTÍN
Bruno Martín (Madrid, 1982) is a versatile filmmaker who works as an actor, director, screenwriter, editor, and producer.
He holds degrees in Film and TV Editing, Screenwriting, and Directing from the Séptima Ars school, and in Acting from the Central de Cine school. He has built his career in the worlds of advertising and web series, and his experience spans a wide range of projects.
As a screenwriter, in addition to his own work, he has collaborated with David Sainz (Malviviendo) on RTVE Playz series like Grasa, where he also appeared as an actor. In this capacity, he has worked on renowned productions such as En fin (Amazon Prime Video), Patria (HBO), Acacias 38 (TVE), Mambo (RTVE Playz), El último tren al rock'n roll (Netflix), and Fogueo (YouTube).
Additionally, he is the creator of web series such as Survival Zombie (with over 9 million views on YouTube), Jauría Nick, Polis Corruptos (later developed into a feature film and available on Filmin, Amazon Prime, and FlixOlé), and A Todo Riesgo. These projects earned him major awards, including the Sundance TV Shorts 2018 and the Carballo Interplay 2017.
He has also worked as an editor on numerous trailers (The Elderly, One night with Adela, Olvido), short films (Caraoscura, The Newcomer, A solas con Farid), and feature films (Echoes, Tu sangre/Sofia: the possession, Drea & Cloe, and his own film, Luger). In this field, he was recently recognized with the Fugaz 2025 Award for Best Editing for the short film 893 Kilómetros.
In 2023, he made his debut as a co-producer with the film I’ll crush y’all (Kike Narcea, 2023), which won the Audience Award in the Midnight X-Treme section of the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival and at Fantastic Fest in Austin.
He is currently premiering his directorial debut, the feature film Luger, at these same festivals.
